HB Entertainment, in which the Group holds a stake of 31%, is principally engaged in production of and investment in films and television dramas, as well as management of artistes, in South Korea. HB Entertainment is the producer of one of the most popular Korean dramas in Asia, “My Love from the Star”, starring Jun Ji-hyun and Kim Soo-hyun . Other popular TV drama series produced by HB Entertainment include “Yong Pal”, “You’re All Surrounded”, “Cinderella and Four Knights”, “The K2”, etc.
More recent works by HB Entertainment include TV drama series “Partners for Justice” (season 1 and 2), “Lovely Horribly”, “Big Issue”, “Sky Castle” and ‘‘Beautiful Love, Wonderful Life’’, which had achieved commendable results. In 2018, “Sky Castle” has recorded the highest-ever national viewership rating of 23.8% in Korea. “Partners for Justice” premiered in Korea in May 2018 and received exceptional response from audience. It delivered an average rating of 6.86%, topping at 9.6%, which is considered very successful. In 2019, “Partners for Justice 2” reached the highest national viewership at 10.1% according to the viewership statistics of TNmS in Korea. ‘‘Beautiful Love, Wonderful Life’’, premiered in September 2019, topped the national viewership ranking for seven consecutive weeks between November and December 2019, recording the highest national viewership at 28.3% (up to 31 December 2019). Its final episode aired in March 2020 reached the highest national viewership at 31.5%, and is deservingly hailed as one of the most popular Korean television dramas in 2019.

HUAYI-WARNER CONTENTS FUND
In 2017, Huayi Tencent Entertainment entered into a partnership agreement with, among others, Huayi Investment Inc. and Warner Bros. Korea Inc. (“Warner Bros Korea.”) to establish the Huayi-Warner Contents Fund (the “Fund”). The Fund’s capital shall be invested in film projects that are invested and distributed by Warner Bros Korea. Through participating as a limited partner of the Fund, the Company can get preferential access to investments in premier film projects led by Warner Bros Korea. The Fund’s investments include films such as “Champion”, “The Witch”, “Jin-Roh”, ‘‘Jesters: The Game Changers’’, ‘‘The Battle of Jangsari’’, ‘‘Bring Me Home’’, etc. “Champion” was released in South Korea in May 2018, earning Korean domestic box office receipts of over US$8.4 million. “The Witch”, released in June 2018, recorded Korean domestic box office receipts of over US$24 million and a cinema attendance of over 3.1 million. Such success in the performance of the Fund’s projects marks an important step in our pipeline in the Korean film industry.
